Michelle Geraghty

Michelle is originally from Co. Louth in Ireland and graduated from University College Dublin in 2012. She spent the first couple of years in practice in Northern Ireland before moving to Buckinghamshire in 2014. She joined the Boness family early in 2021. 

Although first opinion practice offers lots of variety and the chance to meet many of our patients and clients, what Michelle enjoys most of all are surgical cases, especially soft tissue surgery. She obtained a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery in 2018 and is an advanced veterinary practitioner in this area. Michelle then completed a general practitioner certificate in endoscopy and endosurgery in 2020. 

She also enjoys spending time with her colleagues and newer graduates, both teaching and learning new skills. 

Michelle lives with her husband Joseph and their rescue lurcher Ronan and outside of work enjoys taking Ronan out on walks, reading and travelling (especially going back to Ireland to visit family and friends).
