Sarah Walker

Sarah graduated from Cambridge University in 2012. After some charity work at a dog shelter in Sri Lanka, she spent 5 years working in small animal practice in West Sussex. A move closer to home brought her to Boness vets in 2018. Sarah developed an interest early on in eyes early on her career; she holds the BSAVA post-graduate certificate in small animal ophthalmology. She enjoys using specialist equipment such as the slit lamp and tonometer to help patients with more challenging eye cases. Sarah also enjoys medicine cases and the surgical ophthalmology cases. 

Sarah lives locally with her husband, two children and two cats recently adopted from Stray cat Rescue - they enjoy zooming round the house and terrorising the local wildlife. Outside of work, Sarah is a parent governor at the children's school, and enjoys walking, biking (or running after children on bikes), paddle boarding, dinghy sailing and camping holidays.
